Just had my last monthly visit to the midwife, we are now meeting every 2 weeks!  Eeek!  All is good so far, baby's heart rate is around 140, all my vitals are fine... took more blood today for some more tests.  Baby is breech right now, but that isn't surprising, most of my kiddos stay breech until the week or two before they are born.  

My aunt came over today to help me out with the storage room, I was pretty much useless, but she worked hard as usual and it looks much better.  There's more to be done and then I need to move on to the downstairs office/laundry area.

10 Week Count Down... Yikes!!!

Can you believe I only have 10 weeks left of this pregnancy? I can't. I feel a lot further along than I am, which is a touch scary... how am I going to feel in another 5-10 weeks??? Baby is EXTREMELY active, I will often catch movement out of the corner of my eye... she is quite the kicker.

I have a tentative plan for school for the next 10 weeks, Lord willing we can keep up with it. Here's the basics topics we are hoping to cover in addition to core subjects:

May 21-25: South Carolina, Albrecht Durer, Henri Rousseau, Mary Cassatt
May 28-June 1: John F. Kennedy, Kentucky, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Wisconsin

June 4-8: June's Flower - Rose, Diego Velasquez, National Fishing Week
June 11-15: George Bush, Flag Day, Father's Day, Arkansas
June 18-22: New Hampshire, West Virginia
June 25-29: Virginia, Peter Paul Rubens

July 2-6: Calvin Coolidge, Idaho, July's Flower - Water Lily
July 9-13: John Quincy Adams, Wyoming, James McNeill Whistler
July 16-20: Catch Up Week, Infans/Infantis

Still can't decide if I want to briefly cover the states listed above or pick ONE and just do an in-depth study for a good week or two (or longer if needed). So far the plan is to just briefly cover them as we hit the dates that they became a state and then do an in-depth study afterwards.

We still have 6 months of schooling, but will take a break when baby gets here since we do year-round schooling.

I have been blessed by family and friends in the past couple months with baby supplies... I now have:

Woohoo!  Now I just need to figure out what else is needed.  I plan on starting all the baby prep (setting up bassinet/crib, washing clothes, finding all the supplies for homebirth) July 1st.  So the rest of this month and June will be just trying to clean up, sorting stuff and prepping for school for after baby gets here.

Anybody up for helping out on some deep spring cleaning???  No?  Oh it will be LOTS of fun.  ;o)  LOL!

~ May ~ 12 weeks ~ third trimester ~

It's May. I have 12 weeks left until DUE date. I'm trying very hard NOT to panic or hyperventilate. Time is truly flying by WAY to fast. My reading has stalled... I finished off a couple of the books I had on my goal list, but not any where near where I wanted to be. I still have 12 weeks to get more done, but as I have hit the 3rd trimester I'm feeling more and more tired, sore and overwhelmed.  My bad leg has started swelling and feeling more and more irritated, I need to become more active, but I don't wanna when I feel like this.  HOWEVER, I need to just do it.  

I had another fun surprise today from my neighbor Julie... she dropped off another box full of baby girl clothes! Now I have a box of 0-3 and a box of 3-6 size clothing! All Katie's baby clothes went to my sil (Tanya) when Selah was born, so I had nothing for a girl. I actually have a couple boxes of baby boy stuff too! My cousin Jay brought over a bunch of his grandson's clothing he just grew out of, all of it in good shape! So either way I'm covered for a little while. :o) Praying for a girl though. ;o)



I started visiting Facebook a bit lately, I registered on there back at about the time I signed into to MySpace, but Facebook is not very "user-friendly" and so I avoided it... until... I was introduced to Word Twist and Scramble! OH how I love word games! And I get to challenge my friends!! So it is more fun than playing the computer.  So if you are on Facebook and wanna challenge me to a game... please do.  :o)

Ok, it's late and I have to go work on the 7th load of laundry I just took out of the dryer... I got behind a day or two and it piled up FAST.  As I was going downstairs to get the last load, I was bringing down a new batch of dirty clothes.  I was soooo close to getting ALL the clothes cleaned.  Oh well, tomorrow can be the day.  :o)
