Names picked FINALLY...
So we figured out a boy's name pretty quickly, but were stuck on a girl's name until this past week. Here are the final choices:
Anika Isabelle Taylor
Anika means "Grace", since she will be our 5th child (Lord willing this is a girl), the number #5 is a symbol for "grace" Biblically speaking. And the name has 5 characters too. Not that numbers are anything special, but it helped us settle on a name. :o)
Isabelle is a family name, Mike's great Aunt in Canada.

Nicholas Troy Taylor
Nicholas, we picked because we both liked it.
Troy because it is Mike's middle name and I have always wanted to use it.
As for an update... I'm 35 weeks now, another 5 more to go. Since the leg/ferry accident in Aug. 2006 I have been experiencing some really odd problems, weird reactions to things I never had a problem with before like adhesives, iodine/betadine wash/etc... I break out in a rash that lasts 2-3 weeks. Well, things have only gotten worse since becoming pregnant. I am now allergic (or having a "reaction") to my deodorant, I got a bad reaction to this digestive supplement that the ND gave me - that was a 3 week rash on both arms/legs. I failed my first glucose test and waiting on the 3-hour test results to find out if I have gestational diabetes, I was having odd fevers since the accident... they seem to be subsiding, but I'm not keeping track as much anymore. I'm Vitamin D deficient, I'm also protein deficient - have to try for 80 grams of proteins a day! So all this to say... it appears my body is breaking down since the accident, my midwife thinks that my body was too depleted from the infections/massive amounts of antibiotics I had to take that first year and the body just can't keep up right now. BABY is doing great, but I'm having a rough time this go around.
Trying to eliminate the sugar/caffeine from the diet. I made it almost a week & half - lost a couple pounds and was miserable. I hear it can take up to 2 weeks to get the yuckies from the sugar/caffeine out of the system and people assure me I will feel so much better... but I'm still 2 weeks away from that since I had to drink all that glucose on Thursday and then I succumbed today. But I will keep trying.
I start setting up baby stuff in another week... excited about that. Can't wait to see the bassinet set up again in our room and the baby clothes in the drawers. :o) I will also begin prepping for the homebirth, we are still planning for that - however, I'm being a bit more cautious this time with all the odd stuff going on with me. That is the main topic of my midwife appointments lately. They are still confident, me not as much... will be praying for direction and peace.
