Misc. stuff...
Found a new ticker, shows the baby growing... kinda neat:
I have my appointment for an ultrasound on March 6th. Whether or not we can see if the baby is a boy or a girl will be up to how cooperative the little one is. I'm excited to see the baby though. I can now feel the kicks a lot more this week, yay!!
Typically we don't go out of our way to have an ultrasound. With Jordan we had the basic hospital/dr. birth and so I had about 4 ultrasounds with him, but we were planning on NOT peeking, we were going to be surprised... that is until we went to the last ultrasound and I was past 30 weeks (we made it that far without asking) and then the tech asked once again if we wanted to know and we just caved. :o)
Katie was a surprise though. That was neat. Mike was the one to tell me what we had after he helped lift her out of the water (it was a waterbirth in a birthing center with the midwife). With Joshua we found out late too, he was breech towards the end and so I went in for an ultrasound to see if he had flipped or not... same with Ryan. Both late ultrasounds. BUT this one I really want to find out because I have given away almost all of the baby clothing, Katie is sure we are having a girl and if it is a boy I need her to prepare for it, and we can't come up with a girl name. Lots of excuses. LOL! :o)
For those of you who read my flickr site, an update on my reading list/exercise goals:
I'm reading 3 books at once, taking turns each night and then the Message Bible. I want to read the entire Bible, The Excellent Wife, Keeping our children's Hearts, Discipline, the glad surrender, The Power of Words, Becoming a Woman of Prayer, The Heart of Homeschooling, Feminine Appeal and a couple other "maybes" if I can before baby is born.
So far here is where I'm at:
Bible - Done with Genesis, Exodus, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, and Isaiah.
The Excellent Wife - on chapter 10.
Keeping our children's hearts - on chapter 10.
Discipline, the glad surrender - on chapter 10.
As for the goal on exercise (500 miles on the stationary bike during the 40 weeks I'm pregnant), I have done 144 miles in 19 weeks. I'm pretty sure I can hit the goal, but I need to stay on top of it. The reading I am behind on, but it is still possible to make the goal if I can pick up the pace a bit.
K, off I go to finish up dinner. Have a great weekend!!!
