Happy 5th Birthday to Joshua!!!!!

We had a small party at Chuck E. Cheese for Joshua's birthday!  He had a blast and somehow we went through almost 600 coins.  Crazy.  I think a lot of times the littles were just feeding the machines and running off.  LOL!

Kaitlyn's 8th Birthday!

She was sick on her b-day, we had a small family dinner party.  After a nap during the festivities she was ready to dig into the cake & ice-cream!

Happy Birthday to ME!! :o)

Fun day today!!  Woke up to a card in the bathroom, an iced-mocha in the fridge, the kiddos had made cards for me, then there was a chocolate truffle candy bar in the van on the dash... my parents had a large batch of new card-stock paper for me and now I have the day to myself since my parents and Mike's mom & brother are taking turns watching the kids ALL day!  

Joshua's CT scan update & baby's ultrasound info...

Joshua's CT Scan was normal, all looks well and he is acting more & more like himself each day.  We had our ultrasound today and the technician is pretty sure we are having a GIRL!!  This was the best picture she could get today, baby was moving around like crazy.  Katie is THRILLED with the news.  :o)

CT scan DONE... waiting for results.

The CT scan went over pretty well, it was FAST and Joshua got a new stuffed dog from the CT Technicians.  Now just waiting for the dr. to give us the results.  Will update in this post when I get info.

CT scan scheduled...

While Josh IS acting better, he is still not his normal self.  We have a CT scan scheduled for 2pm on Wednesday as well as a follow up with the pediatrician.  More info. to follow after we get some results.

Joshua concerns...

Joshua started acting odd yesterday, he woke up a touch early, but was very tired.  He wanted to take a nap at 11am (unheard of), he slept for 3 hours.  He didn't talk much and was just not himself.  He woke this morning late and has been slurring his speech, acting odd and off balance.  We took him to the doctor in the afternoon and he is not quite sure what is going on, but we have a CT scan to schedule and another follow up appt. for Wed.  We may also have him go to Children's for a neurological work up if things don't improve.  The only explanation the doc could give us today was it MIGHT be post-viral-ataxia.  

He had a very high fever a week or two ago, but nothing too recent that I can think of.  No head trauma, no toxins around that I know of... he can't say his alphabet or speak clearly as he normally can.  The dr. thinks he will be fine by Wed., but even if he is I really want to get the CT scan just to be on the safe side.

He acted similar to this once DURING a sickness when his fever was over 103, he repeated sounds over and over, rocking, lethargic and non-responsive, however it stopped within 30 minutes of taking some tylenol.  

Anyways, I will keep you all updated with any new information.  Please keep him in your prayers.  Thank you!
