It's been a while...

We made it through all the events, even with the stomach flu hitting us. I will share some pictures later.

I had my midwife appt. on the 23rd and baby is still breech. I have a bunch of techniques I need to try out this next week to get baby to turn. I'm about week 34/35 and so I still have some time.

Only a week left to get our first day of school ready to go! My goal is to have all the prep work for the entire first Quarter done by then... but I don't know if I'm gonna make it.

I have a lot to get done tonight so I should get off the computer, but I wanted to let you all know that we are alive & well. I hope to do some more & better updating later with pictures. :o)

Happy Birthday to Jordan!

SEVEN years ago, after 2 days of trying to induce/force labor... Jordan Glen Taylor was born and he was soooooo precious! He was actually born with TWO baby teeth on the bottom just like his Grandpa Glen.

What Jordan wants to be when he grows up:
~ A paleontologist
~ Work with Steve Irwin
~ Maybe a Zoo Keeper
~ A Nature TV Program Host like Jeff Corwin

His passions:
~ Dinosaurs
~ Reptiles
~ Spiders
~ Animals
~ Other bugs

He starts 2nd grade in January and has told me that he wishes he could start Science NOW! :o)

Midwife Update...

I got to see my midwife today for my 32 week appointment. I am now seeing her every 2 weeks! Next appt. is Dec. 23rd. Baby's heartbeat was in the 140's. Baby would NOT stop moving and so it took a LONG time to get the heartbeat stats. We believe baby is in the breech position, so I will have to keep an eye on that and perhaps begin some baby-turning techniques. Although it IS early, so I'm not concerned... yet. ;o) Joshua was in the breech position up until week 37. Some say that if mommy is stressed, baby will stay in the breech position to be closer to mom to bring her comfort. :o) Cute for now, but soon I will have to convince the little one to TURN!

We have a tree with lights on! No decorations yet, but that will happen tomorrow. Lights are up on the house and Mike surprised me with 2 wreaths for our front doors (we have double doors). "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..." :o)

Misc. Ramblings...

So today marks the beginning of my 8th month. about 8 weeks left until due date... or 6 weeks until "full term". I usually have my babies late, so probably more like 9 weeks. This little one is VERY active, kicks me almost constantly and I think this one will be LONG as he/she can kick me in my ribs AND in my pelvic/hip bone at the same time. Yikes! Katie was 23 inches - that is very long.

My baby this week taken from my Taylor baby webpage:

We went to the Outback Christmas Tree Farm last week, they have new animals: LEMURS! Very fun! They were so cute. We did not find a tree this time though. So here it is the 5th of December and we are still "tree-less". :o( We also did not have time to put up the lights on the house. I'm SLOWLY trying to bring up decorations, but it is taking forever.

I finally bought Christmas cards last week... but have yet to address ANY of them. I think I have the first week of school set up for Katie & Josh... still waiting on Jordan's curriculum. I have a lot more planning/preparing to do - school starts in 4-5 weeks.

We are trying to take one event at a time: first on the agenda is my nephew Cameron's birthday party - he will be 2! Other than wrapping his gift, we are pretty well set for that. Then comes Jordan's 7th birthday, this year we are taking the quiet route and just having a small family party. Then we have Grammy Sue's b-day and then Mike's b-day, then Christmas Eve with my side of the family, Christmas day will be just a "hang out" day since Mike has to work, then the day after Christmas will be another Christmas celebration with Mike's side of the family. Then comes New Years, school starting and then baby will be due... hyperventilating here... LOL!

Ok, I should be doing something more productive than blogging. I better run. :o)
