November 2005

I can't believe it is already November. Here's a little update on us:

Ryan: turns 9 months old on the 5th of this month. He is wearing 9-12 or 18 month stuff. He eats cheerios, little goldfish crackers, pears, bananas, and the like. Not walking yet, but can stand, cruise the furniture, lower himself down to the ground and even stand up without holding on to something.

Joshua: 2yrs. & 8 months old... and getting to be quite the character. He hates the rain and is terrified of thunder. He is trying out his skills in telling jokes, his main one is:

Josh-"Knock, knock"

me-"who's there?"

Josh-"Cow!"

me-"Cow who?"

Josh-"MOOOOOOO!"

Kaitlyn: 5yrs. & 8 months old... she is becoming quite the little lady! She loves to "mother" the younger two kiddos - regardless of whether or not they WANT to be "mothered". ;o) Still working on reading with her, it may be a little while before she gets the hang of it.

Jordan: will be 8 years old on Dec. 12th. He is practicing/rehearsing to be in the Christmas musical at Calvary this year. This is the first year he has been eligible to be in one. He has one solo line and then sings about 3 songs (I think) with about 4 other kids. His official title is the "Junior Library League Singer".

The Dino study is still s.l.o.w.l.y. progressing. When the kids got sick a couple weeks ago we took a week off, then we got busy this week doing other things and now we are in need of catching up. We have another 3 weeks of this school year and then it is officially over until we begin the new school year in 2006!

Mike's new (old) schedule is going ok, we still have yet to figure out a way to make the most of it though. So far we all go to bed too late so that we can see dad and then get up too late to get anything done before he goes to work. Oh well, we will figure it out eventually.
